Essential Question: How are various points of view developed by an author?
Warm-up: Tell a story about a day in class in the first person point of view from the perspective of the last substitute you had. Aim for 4-5 sentences.
Work Session:
-In groups, provided chart paper and an assigned picture, students will write a brief narrative of using each point of view.
-Students will share their narratives and assess (as a class) whether other groups used point of view correctly.
-As a class, students will distinguish between perspective and point of view.
