Work Session:

-Students will continue taking notes on narrative plot structure and practice describing those elements at work in short film clips.
-In groups determined by the story they select, students will choose from one of three Grimm’s Brother’s fairy tales and analyze the narrative plot structure.
-After identifying the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution, students will explain how they were able to identify each.
Closing: The teacher will call on students to discuss everything they know about the resolution of a narrative plot.
Homework: Continue working on summer reading. Due August 19th. Study the five basic elements of narrative plot structure. There will be a quiz on Thursday.
